A Classic Baltimore Maryland Wedding
I have been to a handful of Catholic weddings before, but none quite like this one. Vianey and Brandon held their wedding ceremony at St. Ignatius Church in Baltimore City. This was such a stunning church, it reminded me of a cathedral! What made Vianey and Brandon’s ceremony so special was that their family got to be a part of the ceremony. Vianey and Brandon included Mexican traditions in their ceremony, such as the exchanging of coins and a wedding lasso. For the exchange of the coins, Vianey’s grandmother gave the coins to the couple while Father blessed them. During the wedding lasso, Vianey’s grandparents put a large rosary around the couple. Father then asked the entire church to stand and raise their hands as he blessed the couple. It was beautiful to see their family and friends with their arms held high blessing the new couple. What a way to start your marriage!
After the ceremony we headed to a park in Mt. Vernon Baltimore for bridal portraits. It was early November and the park had such beautiful fall foliage. I remember Brandon saying he loved the fall colors and that these photos would probably be his favorite!
1840’s Plaza Wedding Reception
Following the fall bridal portraits, we went to their wedding reception venue at 1840’s Plaza for more portraits before the reception began. 1840’s Plaza has a beautiful courtyard, it is a photographers dream. I admit, I did swoon when I saw those courtyard lights!
Once the party started, I photographed Vianey and Brandon greeting all of their guests. They were so thankful to all who came to celebrate their love!
Congratulations to Vianey and Brandon! And check out some of my favorites from the wedding!

And thanks to all the vendors who made this day great!
