Why Brittland Manor is a great wedding venue
Brittland Manor is a waterfront wedding venue located in Chestertown, Maryland, and overlooks the Chesapeake Bay. The costs run from $14,000 to $16,000 depending on the season. Brittland Manor is great because they have on-site getting ready, ceremony, and reception space with breathtaking views. It’s perfect for those who want a nautical-themed wedding.
Where to get ready at Brittland Manor
Brittland Manor has different getting-ready spaces for couples. They can get ready in the manor or, like the groom below, they can get ready in waterfront cottages by the bay. Getting ready at the venue space is a great idea because reduces travel, which takes a lot of stress out of your day.
Where to have your ceremony?
The manor has a few different ceremony locations on its property. They offer a waterfront ceremony view, a garden ceremony, or a manor view ceremony. Where you have your ceremony will also depend on how many guests you have. Their ceremony spaces range from 125 seats to 400 seats. So there’s an option for all types of weddings! The couple below had a waterfront ceremony.
Reception and Cocktail Hour
Cocktail hour is held either poolside or in the garden with guests being able to overlook the Bay. For weddings with under 275 guests, the reception is held on the back patio. There is a separate reception space for weddings with more than 275 guests. The couple below had their reception on the back patio.
Where to take wedding photos at Brittland Estates
Brittland Estates offers so many beautiful options for photos. There is the dock for waterfront photos, the garden, the estate grounds, and, of course, the manor.
Nautical Inspired Brittland Manor Wedding
Blair and Zach met at Stevenson University in Maryland. They loved the Eastern Shore and their whole wedding had a Maryland Eastern Shore theme. Being from Maryland I couldn’t help but love their theme! If you’re planning a nautical-themed wedding check out their photos below for inspiration!
