Washington, DC Boudoir Photographer
Do I have to allow you to share my photos?
Absolutely not! Boudoir sessions are very personal and I understand if you do not want your photos shared. You will have three sharing options to choose from 1. allow me to share all your photos, 2. allow me to share only non-identifying photos, 3. keep all images private.
Do I need to get nude at my session?
Nope! Boudoir is all about celebrating you and making you feel comfortable! If you don’t feel comfortable getting nude then you don’t have to! There’s no pressure to do anything you don’t feel comfortable with.
How should I prep for my session?
No prep is needed before your session! I will coach you through all the poses during your session! Please don’t tan before your session because you don’t want streaks or tan lines in your photos. Also, don’t wear tight clothes the day of your session because I don’t know about you but they give me bad body lines! Wear loose-fitting clothing to your session.
Where will the session take place?
The session will take place either in a studio or a chic hotel in the DC area.
The below two sessions took place at a beautiful studio in Northern Virginia called Dogwood Lane.
What should I bring to my session?
You should bring at least three pieces of lingerie or sexy clothing that you feel comfortable wearing! Don’t bring something just because it looks sexy if you don’t feel sexy in it! A few ideas would be a bodysuit, teddy, oversized clothing, robes.
Do I need to be getting married to have a boudoir session?
Of course not! Boudoir sessions are about celebrating your body and making you feel empowered! You do not have to do a boudoir session for a significant other! I would encourage you to do a boudoir session for you because it will make you happy!
How are my images stored after my session?
Your images will be sent to you to download on a private online gallery that will expire after one year. I store all of my images on an external hard drive.
